Quick Developer Bio

I'm a 27-year-old PHP programmer, and I've been programming PHP for 3 years. Yes, I coded this site from scratch; you'll find no frameworks or packages here (except jQuery, of course)!

I'm also reasonably adept at using Javascript and jQuery; thankfully, I had the good fortune of struggling with cross-browser Javascript before "getting it easy" with jQuery. I've developed web applications that extensively use AJAX as a real-time UI component and, for the data transport to the browser, I've employed both XML and JSON as the data formatting mechanism.

In addition to web programming, I also have extensive experience using both Transitional HTML and XHTML Strict, as well as extensive CSS2 experience in implementing cross-browser compatible site layouts. Obviously, CSS knowledge is paramount in utilizing jQuery effectively, so I consider it to be a necessary skill in my line of work.
